Welcome back to our August edition of Bagby News, where we review monthly City Highlights, Employee Spotlights, and all other news. In August, we had several highlights that we would like to recap with you.
City Highlight
First, for August’s City Highlight, the “tide” came in to showcase the city of Tuscaloosa, AL. We love having a Bagby location in Tuscaloosa because of its unbeatable spunk, spirit, and tradition. Our T-town crew is nothing short of winners! We are so happy to call Tuscaloosa home for Bagby and that we can participate in the football festivities every fall. Roll Tide!
Employee Spotlights
Bagby had many employees reach milestones this month. We want to recognize some of our employees for their loyalty to Bagby and call attention to their accomplishments. Read more about our employee spotlights and milestones!
August’s employee spotlight goes out to Leslie Gaut! She is the office manager for our Mobile, AL location as well as the Southern Division Administrative Assistant. Leslie has been with Bagby for just over 21 years. We just wanted to recognize her for her hard work and continued loyalty to Bagby Elevator Company. Thank you Leslie for everything you do to make our jobs easier. You are so appreciated!
Employee Milestones
In August, we celebrated three huge milestones. First, we want to congratulate our leader, Hunter Bagby, for surpassing 20 years at Bagby Elevator Company! The kind of leadership he brings is more than we could have ever hoped for. He is a family-oriented man who has developed into a great leader. We have employees who have worked for Bagby for as many as 40 years, and they will tell you today that the last 20 years have been their best here at Bagby. After taking over the company, Hunter quickly learned the insurance side of our business, as that is a significant expense in this industry. His knowledge has made an enormous impact on our company. Bagby Elevator Company and its employees are proud to have Hunter Bagby lead us to the future as he helps make us all feel we can do anything we put our minds to.
We also celebrated Mr. Ken Cranford’s 15th year working as our controller at Bagby! He has always brought a lively and happy attitude to work. Ken expertly oversees our accounting and office functions. We are so appreciative of Ken, he is quite easy to celebrate! Congrats on 15 amazing years Ken!
Last month we also congratulated Terry Moss on his 5th anniversary with Bagby Elevator. Terry is a valuable part of our Dallas team by not only keeping the Technicians equipped with what they need to perform their jobs but also overseeing warehouse operations. Thank you Terry for your support!
In Other News
We’d like to thank Texas Builders Foundation for sponsoring a spectacular golf tournament for our Dallas Bagby office. Jeramy Marinelli & Emily Thornton from our Dallas, TX crew had a blast being keg sponsors at hole 12! We appreciate the opportunity to ditch the office for a day and hit the green.
